Honorable Michael Maggio
Michael Maggio has served as Circuit Judge for the 20th Judicial District for Faulkner, Van Buren and Searcy Counties since January 1, 2001.
He is married to Emily and they have five children. They live in Conway, Arkansas. They attend St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. He attended Ole Miss Law School and received his law degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He opened his general law practice in 1990. He is licensed to practice in all courts in Arkansas.
He has experience as a deputy prosecutor, public defender, and in private practice that included all areas of the law.
He has judicial experience as a Small Claims Referee, Special Municipal Judge, Special Circuit Judge. In those capacities he presided over 15,000 cases.
As a Circuit Judge since January 1, 2001 he has presided over the largest docket in the 20th Judicial District. His division averages over 4,000 new case filings per year.
